When I first entered college I had a different mindset. I thought it was going to be all fun and games, but I quickly found out that it was going to be hard work. I found out that I was actually going to apply myself to my work. One thing I found challenging was actually showing up to class. In high school students are required to attend class, but not in college. Some days I would skip class simply because I could. This was not a life pattern I wanted to be associated with. I found that attending college classes on a regular basis really benefited me. It helped me keep track of assignments and as a result I earned good grades. Sounds crazy, but it’s the truth. If I had to give advice to future college students it would be to always stay on top of homework and assignments. The hardest thing to do in college is to play catch up. A lot of times students have to withdraw from classes because they get so far behind in their assignments. It is so much easier to keep up with all your work because in the end it definitely pays off. Sunday, November 27, 2011
